Every bundle has a keepsake slot. Post Amy a hospital bracelet, a medal, a pressed flower or a key, and she fits it into the box beside the book. Or leave it empty with a ribbon, so you can add something yourself when you give it.
Please don’t post anything you could never replace. Amy can make a careful copy of original photos or letters instead.

How ordering works
Step 1: You choosePick picture cards: what kind of story, who's in it, how it should feel. 
Step 2: You shareAdd photos, a voice note or a few words. Lock anything private. 
Step 3: Amy makes itAmy writes and paints every page, and asks if anything is unclear. 
Step 4: You read it allTurn every page first. Leave a note on any page you'd like changed. 
Step 5: It arrivesPrinted only once you say yes — then wrapped and posted to your door.

- Choose a book. Pick the size that suits your story. You can change it until you approve.
- Shape your story. Add people, memories, photos and voices, at your own pace.
- Pay a deposit. Only once you send your story to Amy, so she can begin.
- Read your proof. The complete book, every page. Ask for changes.
- Approve and pay the rest. Nothing is printed until you say it is right.
- It arrives. Printed, packed with care and posted. Usually 3 to 4 weeks in all.

Questions people ask
What if I change my mind?
Before Amy starts, your deposit is refunded in full. After she has begun, the deposit covers her time, and you never pay the balance unless you approve the book.
What if I don't like the proof?
Tell Amy what feels wrong, page by page. Each package includes rounds of changes, and nothing is printed until you approve.
Can I send it straight to someone as a gift?
Yes. Add their address, a gift message, and we leave prices off the packing slip. They never receive emails from us.
Is my material private?
Yes. Your photos, recordings and notes are only seen by you and Amy, and used only in the way you allow.
Can someone help me fill it in?
Of course. A family member can help, or Amy can talk it through with you by phone.
Is it suitable for a hard story, like a loss or an illness?
Yes. Amy handles these gently, and you choose how much is said and how it ends.
